Turtle Skeletons! Original Art. Tying our love of rare & different textiles and fabric embroidery with our neverending love for Lady With A Fan and the entire Terrapin Suite, we found ourselves in a deep collaborative creative moment. Rainwater intensively studied the anatomical bones of turtles, putting together a true view of what skeleton Terrapin Turtles would actually look like. We’re excited to finally share this piece with you.
Art is 9-inch diameter housing 150,000+ embroidery stitches. As always, locally stitched at our studio in California, one at a time.
